Pre-commissioning adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan sebelum commissioning test, dengan tujuan memastikan bahwa setiap peralatan yang telah diselesaikan pada tahap konstruksi dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan sesuai dengan standar yang berlaku.
Kegiatan pre-commissioning meliputi pengujian peralatan secara individual setelah tahap konstruksi dinyatakan selesai oleh QA/QC.
